AI enablement · built for nonprofits

Give your team back a day a week — without adding another tool to learn.

We help mission‑driven leaders adopt AI responsibly so staff spend less time on busywork and more time on the work that matters. No jargon, no hype — just workflows that fit the way your team already operates.

The reality

"We should probably figure out AI…
but we're already drowning, and we don't trust most of the people selling it."

— Every executive director we've talked to, more or less verbatim.

What we actually do
  • 1We sit down with your real work — the grant in flight, the donor email you've been putting off, the program data you can't make sense of.
  • 2We design AI into the workflows you already have. We don't replace your voice; we teach AI to recognize it.
  • 3We help your board, your staff, and your community feel good about the choices you're making — with guardrails and a use policy you can stand behind.
  • 4We charge on a sliding scale tied to your operating budget. Mission‑aligned, full stop.
Offerings
03 / parallel options

Three different shapes of help. Not steps. Not tiers.

Each one is a standalone offering, priced on a sliding scale by operating budget. Pick the shape that fits this season — you can always add another later.

For teams curious about AI but unsure where to start

3.5 hours. Your real work on the table. Everyone leaves with something they'll use Monday morning.

Each person brings two real use cases from their actual job — a grant draft, a stuck donor email, a clunky intake form. We bring a method (we call it the 4D framework) and the patience to sit next to each person while they build their first workflow.

From "we should probably figure out AI" to a working grant draft in one afternoon.

Bold Idea expands access to computer science education for students in under‑resourced Dallas schools. Like most nonprofits we meet, their team was capable, caring, and absolutely buried.

Before

A 7‑person team writing 14 grants a year by hand.

Inconsistent voice across writers. AI policy: "we'll figure it out later." Joshua, the founder, spent weekends rewriting his own copy from scratch.

After a half‑day workshop

A shared "case for support" Claude project + a 4‑step drafting workflow.

Voice still sounds like them — they trained Claude on their messaging together, live. Policy approved by the board two weeks later.

"
They didn't sell us AI. They helped us see our own work differently.

Voices
05 / what people tell us

The questions every ED asks us first.

"

Will it still sound like us?

Yes. We never replace your voice — we teach AI to recognize it. Your case for support, your tone, your guardrails.

"

What about our community's data?

We design workflows that keep sensitive data out of public models, and we help you write a use policy your board can stand behind.

"

Is my team going to hate this?

In our experience, the opposite. People leave excited — because they finally got their annoying task off their desk.

Who we are

A former nonprofit executive and an engineer. The whole company.

Robyn led nonprofits for a decade. Lucinda builds technology and has done nonprofit board work for years. We started Impact Catalyst Collective because the orgs we love kept asking the same question — "is AI for us, or against us?" — and the existing answers came from people who'd never read a board packet.

We're a two‑person studio. When you book a call, you talk to one of us. When we say "yes," we mean it.

Worst case, you leave the call with two ideas you can use Monday.

25 minutes. We mostly listen. No prep, no slide deck, no obligation to do anything afterwards. If we're not the right fit, we'll point you to someone who is.
